AMSTERDAM, NETHERLANDS – 15 OCTOBER, 2024 – Flyway Games, a creative studio of KRAFTON Inc., is showcasing two new titles, Commander Quest and Cursebane, in October’s Steam Next Fest, a global event introducing new games on the Steam platform.
Cursebane is an action roguelike that takes players on an adventure through the ever-changing Forest of Fate. Thanks to its innovative deep learning-based narrative engine, new explorable areas and events are determined in real-time based on player choices, ensuring a unique experience with every run. Players can strategically combine katana skills with elemental magic for fast-paced dynamic combat, while the pixel art brings the dark fantasy world to life with fluid animations that enhance the overall visual experience.
Commander Quest is a strategy game combining deck-building, real-time strategy and roguelike mechanics, set in a fantasy world where humans, dwarves, elves, orcs and dragons are engaged in interspecies warfare. As players progress, they unlock new races, commanders, and units. To succeed in battle, players must strategically construct decks, balancing synergies and counter-effects for deeper gameplay.
Steam Next Fest is held three times a year, in February, June, and October. The October event runs from 14 October to 21 October. Any user with a Steam account can enjoy live game streams and free demos of various upcoming games. The demo versions of Commander Quest and Cursebane are available for free download on Steam.
